Joseph C. Rocha is a veteran with a lifelong dedication to service. He’s running for State Assembly to bring opportunity back to San Diego County and strengthen California’s middle class.

Joseph joined the Navy at 18 years old and quickly advanced through the ranks until being discharged under 'Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell' (DADT). After winning the fight for repeal alongside other outspoken advocates, Joseph rejoined the military and rose to the rank of a Marine Corps Captain and prosecutor. 

Joseph will lead with the same sense of duty and service that has guided him his entire life, and will fight for the hardworking people who have too often been left behind by career politicians who only look out for themselves.
